  8. is wrapping herself in the flag -- and not much else. "Get up
  9. and vote," she urges MTV viewers in a 60-second public-service
  10. spot that begins airing this week. Says she: "Voting is as
  11. important as having sex, because without either of them there
  12. is no future." On the tube she warns, "If you don't vote,
  13. you're going to get a spanking." Naughty, naughty, but the
  14. Republic has survived worse.
